"From the moment Stephen Shadley started to work on a design for the Lanai chairs, there was only one person I had in mind to build them! I needed them to be built by a craftsman, with care, passion and skill, and that person was working with me. I was honored to give the commission on behalf of the Owner to Tim Moynihan - a young man and craftsman I hold in high regard and who will no doubt continue to grace us and his profession with his skill and eye as he continues to produce inherently beautiful and usable furniture which will no doubt stand the test of time. As for these chairs, they continue to be the subject of much discussion and are used to comfort friends and family in the pursuit of pleasure around a fireplace on warm and cool evenings alike.
